Changes to my study programme

Hello, my name is Catalina and I am currently studying journalism at the University of Chile.

I really like the different courses that are available in my career, however, I think that modifications could be made to learn more things. 

Some changes could be to introduce new courses focused on the digital area, such as marketing, user experience and graphic design. I am also very interested in artificial intelligence and the role it is currently playing in society, it would be great if the faculty could add a course that teaches you how to use it to your advantage during the practice of journalism.  

Sometimes the academic load is exhausting, it's 5 years of intense study in a row and combating stress is a challenge, but looking on the bright side, I feel grateful to be studying something I love. It would be great if the duration of the career was 4 years.

The buildings of my faculty do not have much aesthetics, in fact, they are old and the rooms lack technological resources for the optimal development of classes, it is sad, I would love that they could renew the infrastructure and design of the faculty, also invest more in computers or basic equipment for the faculty, apart from that it would be a good idea to install new green areas around.

The teaching methods change depending on the branch and professor in charge, there are theoretical methods and others that are more practical and dynamic, personally I prefer the more flexible teaching methods. It would be very entertaining to include academic outings in some subjects that need it.
