Why did I choose my major?

My dream when I was little was to be a hairdresser, I liked to play with other people's hair, I remember that when I went to the hairdresser the lady put a glitter at the end of the cut and I became obsessed with that idea, I wanted to do the same as her. Later in college, I began to evaluate my skills and discovered that my potential was in communication. I was struck by the various ways of expressing and transmitting knowledge. I also longed to go all over the world if possible. I had the option to study commercial engineering or something related to tourism. But in the end, I decided on journalism because I felt that there I could try a little of everything, it covers many disciplines and I like that. My experience studying this at the university of Chile has been very strange because of the online format and I think that during the beginning kept me very unmotivated. But I did not allow this feeling to dominate me, quite the contrary. Throughout these two years I have had to learn with excellent teachers, they give good advice and they try to make us all participate and learn. I am very happy to have the possibility to study what I always want, in the right place. I feel very lucky.
